Machine embroidery is an embroidery technique produced using sewing machines, automatic embroidery machines, and other equipment, primarily used for manufacturing daily-use textiles and artistic pieces such as double-sided embroidery. In China, sewing machines and shuttle-type, multi-head electronic embroidery machines are primarily used, while in Europe, the United States, and Japan, automatic embroidery machines are the main equipment. The stitching techniques blend traditional hand embroidery and lace-making processes, including techniques such as satin stitch embroidery and stem stitch embroidery. This process achieves automated production by scanning pattern data, is compatible with various fabric materials, and has the capability for multi-color simultaneous embroidery. However, its precision differs from that of hand embroidery.
